It’s weird. It’s wonderful. It’s crashing to earth Friday March 11, 2022. Live and in-person for the first time since 2019, South by Southwest (SXSW) returns with nine days of the most unexpected discoveries that happen when diverse topics and people come together.
Local AV integrator and Inc. 5000 company Felix Media Solutions Inc. (FMS) has partnered with Sonance - the industry leader in architectural audio that is designed to disappear - and James Loudspeaker to enable The Spatial Holodeck. This partnership is implementing an immersive audio experience powered by Spatial’s award-winning technology that renders real-time immersive audio. The activation will bring together some of the biggest names in art, software, audio-engineering and AV integration at two locations across the city. SXSW festival goers will get to experience three-dimensional, interactive soundscapes through a transformational, immersive exhibit by arts and entertainment juggernaut Meow Wolf.

SXSW will begin Friday, March 11 and conclude Sunday, March 20. Attendees can visit the Spatial Holodeck and Meow Wolf tent at the Sunset Room, located at 310 E. 3rd Street from March 11-14, or check out a second Spatial activation at Wanderlust Wine Co. located at 702 Shady Lane. Please note all guests will be required to provide proof of a recent negative Covid-19 test or full vaccination. Credentialed SXSW participants can just present their badge for entry, as they will already have satisfied this requirement in order to collect their credentials.
